Singida Tumaini Health Centre( STHC)
Origin of Singida Tumaini Health Centre ( S T H C ) can be traced back in April 1996 when it was founded and established as Mageuzi Dispensary at Kibaoni in Singida Township . In January 1997 the name was changed to Tumaini Charitable Dispensary and the services were shifted to a rented building at soko street in the centre of Singida Township.
The services were shifted again to a new premises with two newly constructed buildings on plot 17/H and 19/H in between Amani and Mosque streets in Singida Township. The Dispensary was later upgraded to a Health Centre on 26 July 2004 with a Registration Certificate No. 134202 The Health centre was later inaugurated by “Uhuru” Torch rally on 13 October 2005.
Singida Tumaini Health Centre operates in a two winged buildings, one of which operates as an outpatient department while the other wing is used for Inpatient. The outpatient wing accommodates two consultation rooms, reception cum records room, dispensing cum pharmacy room, two laboratory rooms, minor theatre room, injection room, observation room, matron’s office, office for Medical Officer In charge, waiting lounge and staff tea room.
